This worked great for adding a 7 pin trailer brake harness connector to my car. Simply attach this bracket to the underside of your car where you want to mount your headlights. Plug in a connector, also from this company, and you're done.

On our 2018 crosshead, the attachment tab on the hitch protrudes too far for the plastic cover on the bumper to slide back after the connector is installed. I even drilled holes further back and it still didn't fit. Solution, took a dremel and cut a small hole in the plastic cover to make room for the headlight connector. looks ok But they'd rather build and test these things before just shipping them.

If you're replacing a rear bumper that had factory clearance for a 7-pin RV trailer light connector, this bracket is perfect for a good replacement installation. For my setup I cut the corner piece off leaving room to drill and attach the bracket with two 1/4-20 screws. Even after assembly, the lid opens without jamming.
