🐦 Polly's Comfy Clam Bird Perch: Small Size Superb for Avian Comfort - 51036 Review

My cockatiel ignored the perch and didn't want anything to do with it after I put it in its cage. After two weeks she started to sit up and gnaw on him. Looks like she's enjoying it now and napping in there.

This perch is described as small but is actually very good for small birds. It's about 5 inches wide and just under 2 inches thick, and protrudes about 5 to 6 inches when installed. The surface is rough for beak and claw grooming, but not too hard to stand on. My rider likes to wipe his beak on it when placed next to a food bowl and jump on it when navigating the cage, but doesn't really use it as a durable perch per se. Definitely good quality and worth adding to your cage.

She sits on it closer to the bottom of her cage and literally hangs there which contradicts everything I've read about birds sitting on the highest perch.
