lays down like butter

This gray Polymax PLA is one of the best PLAs I've ever used. I've tried Hatchbox, Sunlu, Tech Bear, Geetech and a few others and this definitely fits. I use and end 3 v2 at 207 degrees with a 55 degree bed. Retract set to 5mm at 45mm/s and 27mm/s with 0.2mm nozzle. The detail of my D&D miniatures is amazing. I love the quality of the resin. After you adjust your settings, it has a slight stretch, leaves minimal layer lines, and is slightly more flexible than PETG and feels more durable than…

2 rolls good, 2 rolls bad

**Updated September 2021** Terrible and unreliable. The two replacement spools were just as bad as the two I returned. One managed to jam my printer so badly that it is now out of alignment (I got stuck on a bell while printing and 10 minutes was enough to damage my printer). I have no idea what's going on at Polymaker, but buyers beware. This filament is low quality and can damage the printer.**Previous Review**The first two rolls of black PLA were fantastic. Good adhesion, no buckling, clean…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Questionable senior purchase

Flows smoothly like water glass; sticks well to itself and adheres well to the bed. With a low layer height, e.g. B. 0.1 or less, you can get perfectly smooth prints with almost no visible layers. Very impressed with that. Suppose this is due to incredible quality control of width and material properties. I've also read that you can smooth out this material with acetone, but haven't tried it yet. I still have a serious problem with buckling up and getting out of bed. (See photo) Given the level
