This thing is awesome. Really works better than the factory trunk lock. The black finish is matched to the black grip making it almost invisible in the aftermarket. The self-adhesive backing plate makes it really hard to break in just by prying off the handle.

I bought it and it arrived quickly. Installed it today and the first problem was the strike plate is too wide and even on the back of the handle you have to reinsert the handle so I tried to trim the handle a bit but it didn't work. TL;DR: Buy lock parts ex works. Full Story: First of all, the installation was a joke. It took me (an experienced GC) 1.5 hours to get a mediocre fit. I had to drill and file my grip to try and get the pop and lock to work. The Pop & Lock PL2500 is poorly designed and requires user modification, the area above the lock (key insertion element) needs sanding or the rear door plastic latch will not fall all the way down. You will then need to bend the curved part over the sticker, you can see the hole in the picture to allow the Pop & Lock PL2500 to slide under the tailgate's plastic latch or it won't go all the way in. I wish I had thought more about converting the tailgate handle with an OEM lock instead of buying a Pop&Lock. On the plus side, it effectively locks the tailgate and I keep it. Initial installation was easy (but be careful when attaching the firing pin to push it as high up in the grip as you can before sliding it back into place).
