Complicated wiring or no video wiring = no power lock

Update 08/31/2015. Upgrade to 4 stars. I found the best connection guide. Thanks to dynoproduct.net. After installing the wiring it now locks/unlocks with my rear doors. -------- Easy installation provided by P&L found on YouTube. However, the wiring installation was not included in the video, making the installation incomplete. You might be better off getting a much cheaper PL6100 - just like this one with no power blocking. Make sure it works for your truck. To be honest the included wiring…

Well thought out mechanics, terrible wiring

Let me start by saying I'm a pretty competent mechanic. The instructions for installing the mechanics for this lock are very simple, and the mechanism is thought out to the smallest detail. This work took no more than 30 minutes. As others have pointed out, the wiring instructions are almost illegible. Even watching some YouTube videos couldn't eliminate the confusion. On a headache free day when I have a few extra hours I'll play with it again and try to get it working. It looks like the…

Applied to 2006 Ridgeline with minor change

Revain and manufacturer Pop & Lock felt this particular model did not fit the Honda Ridgeline so it has been reduced. I found that there is an error of about 3-4mm in the gap of the teeth of the lock. Without a mod it's impossible to remove the key and stay in the locked position. And it is not blocked by the actuator either. Made a small mod to make the link notch slightly longer by about 4mm. It wasn't pretty, but it worked. Now it closes with both the key and the drive. I plan to post videos

Good product but poor quality control in their factory.

I would give this (the cover and latch kit combination (both mechanical and magnetic) five stars if it weren't for the poor quality control in making the guides because I had to clean the rivet area on both Sides what should have been done at the factory On my installation, the failure to clean after drilling the holes for the rivet - the rivet does not stick to the aluminum profiles , but what really disappointed me - for the price of this item, which is not mine experience should be. As for…

Very good, but lacks good documentation.

This review could have received 5 stars if the manufacturer had simply included a picture of a plug in the fuse box where the wires had to be connected in order for the electric lock part to work. Your instructions were too vague and in broken English, I was able to find a picture with a google search with arrows showing two wires (yellow with black stripe and yellow with green stripe) on the Honda Ridgeline's green connector. behind the fuse box on the driver's side for the cables in these…
