Great product, lots of energy!

This amp has a lot of power, I installed it on a 2021 Dodge Ram with a 12" Power Acoustik subwoofer with 2500w peak power. Sounds phenomenal. The price is great too. You won't be disappointed, don't use Sony subwoofers or they will burn out.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Very expensive

Very impressive. - Marine Amp

This is a serious amp, right now the Kicker rants 15 Solobaric Sub. Very impressed and happy with the purchase. Updated: 04/28/18. Still working. I used this app because it was cheap and compact. I built a portable boombox and everyone is crazy about this subwoofer.

For this money is excellent! Runs my 15 " subwoofer very well

Great for the money! Runs my 15" subwoofer very well! Its power rating is over the top, but it delivers clean power without distortion. Very happy with it! I would recommend it for an entry level system or a multi subwoofer combo, at this price it's worth it!

Cons

To be honest I was shocked by the size as I thought it wouldn't last.

To be honest I was shocked by the size, thinking it wouldn't live up to its potential, but I was wrong! It has a 15" Powerbass 3xl 4000W subwoofer and doesn't even get hot! Extremely compact and Class D doesn't get any better

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to say

can't handle 2 ohms as listed

runs 2 low profile 10 inch subwoofers, i turned the amp down a quarter and set the radio to 0 so it doesn't go into protect mode, i work with systems to make money and the reason he does this is because the ohm independence is too low for him. I connected them to 2 ohms as has been said it can handle it but obviously can't.

Great buy for 2 10 - 12 or sing 15

Very powerful amp. That's what my two Infinity 10" Wang Hard subwoofers do. Great buy for 2 10 - 12 or singing 15. Update, I hooked up a Power Acoustik Mofo 15 and everyone was watching. This amp is worth every dollar. My advice is if If you really don't know how car electronics work, hire a professional to install it instead of giving a bad review because you don't know what you're doing.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Something different

Great amp for little money!

Former professional installer with over 20 years experience mainly associated with JL, Alpine and Fosgate. I am very impressed with this amp as it is driven into 4 ohms into a single 10" Fosgate Marine subwoofer at this price point. For anyone saying it doesn't live up to its power rating, that's pretty close! Output power is a pretty subjective thing in the 12V world, it all depends on the input voltage and a few other factors. Overall it seems like a great amp for the money, almost too good…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Unreliable

Very small amplifier with little power

Nice little amplifier. Before buying, I looked at the review on YouTube. It pushes the subwoofer quite well, in fact I've blown an 8" sub, but this amp won't impress you much. Not a bad little amp for the price. If you're driving a single 2 ohm or 1 ohm subwoofer and don't have much space for an amp, this amp might be for you.It gets hot so I would suggest buying a fan or cooling system. And be careful pulling the fuses that come with the amp be, mine was torn apart but easy to replace.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Clarity

About 600 watts into 2 ohms. Only 8 power/ground inputs

Various power outputs are listed in the description, on the Power Acoustik website and in the instructions that came with it when you bought it. All were extremely exaggerated. These dyno tests put it at around 600 watts. Not bad for $80. It was a decent amp for over a year but only good in my wife's car. Not in mine. I replaced it with a Rockford Fosgate amp which is 20% more than advertised, not 50% less. Not a big difference in price. Will not fit 4 gauge wire. Takes 8 gauge. I used adapters

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • The list will be long.
