This powerblanket is beautifully finished and works well. Quickly picks up and maintains temperature. The heat appears to be fairly evenly distributed across the "inner" surface. That's why I give 4 stars - initial performance. My only complaint is that unlike the photo that accompanies this listing, what we received has the cord almost protruding from the top of the duvet. Update December 2017; the second Power Blanket no longer works. Both units simply sat on 55 gallon kegs in an air conditioned warehouse. Both are still in "like new" condition.
