fits my 85 sj410 Best of Spare Parts

Powermaster alternators have never let me down. Dynamo idle 96 amps! Now my Suzuki actually keeps 14 volts at idle with everything working, even the electric fan and off-road headlights!

Amazing alternator, the best of alternators

Works great, 1 wire for my connection, 14.10 volts at idle, was installed on my engine on a dyno, with two electric fans and a distributor. 2000 rpm was 14.7

Huge Parts Update

Replaced the stock alternator with this on a '78 Chevy K20. It's been in there for a year now. The difference was immediately noticeable. Headlights no longer dim when you turn on the fan. It continued to work perfectly. I recommend this over an OEM part.

Great product and get what you pay for! GOOD VALUE $$

This alternator is the second alternator I have installed on my Jeep YJ in the last 6 months. came out after 6 months (hardly ridden either) so i figured i'd make it. and it's worth it. Now this is for the SBC 400 and not the standard YJ.

Newly installed and working. So far I give 5 for the optics. I hope it lasts as long as the original 38 year old alternator from my '79 Chevy G20 van that was still charging, but the stock was noisy. I was a bit concerned that a note on the alternator indicated that the internal regulator was set at 14.8 volts, which I think is borderline high. However, I have found that the battery voltage with the engine running is 14.6 volts, which I think is on the high end of acceptable but normal given…

First was DOA, second works

Bought for an 85 Grand Wagoneer 5.9L. Installation was easy and I tried using it as a single wire. Is free. I increased the speed, checked the grounding, but still does not charge. Thanks to Revain's return and reorder, I was able to get a replacement within two days. works as it should. I had to upgrade my hot rod's electrical system after converting it to EFI. Before the conversion, the idle voltage was fine. The voltage was about 13 or so at 720 RPM. after the Holley EFI rebuild the voltage has dropped to about 11 volts! After a little research I decided to do it.
