This alternator is not working and unfortunately the rear window was closed 4 days ago when I was able to make an appointment with a mechanic to fit it. Now I have to buy another generator and pay for the installation again.

Terrible product. Doesn't produce enough volts - below 12 - so causes all sorts of problems. They sent a replacement and she also had the same problem. The first lasted 8 months, and the replacement didn't even make a month.

This alternator was perfect for my 1998 Chevy Metro but failed after 3 months. The bearing has failed and has therefore stopped working. I give two runs because it fits and Revain was great at giving me a refund on the item because it failed. If you want an alternator that will last a few months, get this, but if you want it to last years as it should, then skip the savings here and spend more to get a quality alternator get that long lasts long time.

Perfectly fits 96 Geo Tracker 1.6L. The original was too tight and difficult to loosen, but this one went in fine (with a couple of broken joints for that rear screw, no alternator fault). The Batt indicator is now off and there are no dead batteries yet. I've only had it for a week but so far so good. No weird bearing noises. Delivery was quick and a lot cheaper than local parts. It looks like it is really new and not renovated. Thanks very much!

Not enough space to mount the plug correctly. One buyer said he had to use pliers to attach it. Good luck trying to remove it again if necessary without damaging the plastic connector. The price was so good I cut off the connector, spliced the wires together and waterproofed it with silicone. 1993 Suzuki Pal JX 8v. 4WD. If you have problem with this fix, find another device! The local parts store had one for $50 more. No, this is a 1993 car and I am 76 years old. Hopefully this block will last…

First off, this generator does NOT require a core charge. This was important as my Suzuki Sidekick was bought semi-disassembled and without a generator. Generator well packaged and received in excellent condition. Once installed in my 1995 Suzuki Sidekick it interacted properly with the charging system and worked great for over 1,000 miles that I've driven it. Because of the quality construction and OEM compatibility of the alternator I expect it will last for many years.

I ventured with a Chinese spare part, but it came incredibly quickly (literally in a few hours) and after inspection it turned out to be a very good spare part. The connector in my car's wiring harness was a bit off center in the aluminum housing which meant I had to modify my car's connector a bit to get it in (a bit of dremel work) but from what I've read on various blogs that this is a common problem is, so I was prepared and knew why the fork wouldn't seat properly.
