Adhesive strips dried out

The adhesive strips on the back were so dry that trying to peel off the paper ripped off the foam. I had to buy double sided tape to fix it. Not even worth $3. Go to Home Depot and buy them for almost the same price and you can return them. save your money

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Clearly bad product

More than one use of door hardware and locks

Guys, do you know how when you go to the toilet at home you sometimes put your hand on the wall to relax? Well, after days, weeks, months and years there is a lot of dirt, sweat and oil on the wall, and then the woman scolds because she always has to scrub clean. Yes? I also thought. Anyway, my wife bought it and put it on the wall right where my handprint was. Bingo! No handprints. No more bleating women. Life is good.

does not stick at all

I followed the SIMPLE instructions. I removed the protective film and pressed it against the wall only to find it fell straight to the floor. I felt back and it's not sticky at all. How come I peeled off EVERY SINGLE label (7 total) and each one had NO stickiness? Don't buy this unless you buy double sided adhesive and stick it on the back. The actual round piece is decent and I think it would be enough to keep the doorknob from damaging the wall, but it should work.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

  • Not sure

Works very well, good quality

Does what it's supposed to! I actually had a small hole where my doorknob hit it too hard. There was nothing funny about it and it was small enough to be covered by this item. I'm renting now so I figured it would be an easy and cheap fix without having to try to fix the drywall. It worked wonderfully! Covers the hole (you wouldn't even know it was there) and the adhesion is very strong and permanent. I installed this maybe two weeks ago and it hasn't moved or dropped. It stays in place and is…

Excellent protection and ideal width and thickness.

Exactly what I needed. I moved into an old house that had a washer and dryer in a small space, but I bought brand new units with front-loading doors that protruded a bit. My garage door kept bumping into the front loader door and I was afraid it would be damaged after so many times so I put this door guard on the real door as a bumper and it helped a lot. It protects the washing machine door and is the perfect thickness but not too far away so I can open the door without getting in the way. I…

it fell off after 1 week

Used to cover a discontinued ceiling box. Installed on a freshly plastered and painted ceiling (I waited a week to make sure the ceiling had "cured" to install it). Unlike a few users, I had no problem peeling the tape off the adhesive backing - but be careful! It climbed up easily enough and covered the 4 inch hole well. I waited 48 hours after installation and then painted it (the paint peeled well). A week later I found it on the floor (sticky side down, of course). Not happy paying $$$ for…

The stickers were only good for half of my order. The rest has dried up.

I have bought these in the past. I rent an apartment for a short time and do house renovations. I have had good luck with this product in the past. When I bought four of these packs this time, the return window was closed when I installed them and only two of the four packs were good. Two defective stickers were no longer there. If you try to remove the wax paper piece from the sticky part, everything will come loose. What disappoints me the most is their customer service. The person I spoke to

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Functionality

HATE THIS THING - Hardware

I don't normally support the mandatory minimum penalty BUT this is an exception: the developer of this thing deserves at least five years of hard work to peel off sticky adhesive coatings. This thing is incredibly difficult to stick on the wall because you get NOT ONE, not TWO, but SEVEN ANNOYING STICKY THINGS to peel off to put on. It would be too easy to make a big self-adhesive pad in the middle. Someone in the design department decided they needed a heptagon from hell and that you, the…

Adhesion issues on hardware

When I removed the first backing paper (starting at the top of the photos) I found that it had separated from the adhesive on the padding underneath. On the way to the right for the next four, I managed to remove the tape and leave the glue behind. But it was just impossible to remove the paper from the last two without taking the glue with it. The adhesive part was practically transparent, so thin that it stuck to the paper and didn't peel off. I have no idea why only these three had problems.

Pros
  • Inexpensive
Cons
  • Large and bulky
