We have vintage doors and these handles are perfect. Perfect fit, easy to install and overall beautiful. Of course, nothing beats original doorknobs made from the durable materials they were made from in their day, but for the price they do the trick!

Very necessary, I have an old house with classic glass door handles (love them btw) but they ALWAYS seem to fail and fall off at the worst possible moment. I installed the handles, but that undesirably changed the look. Once installed, it really made a difference. They seem sturdy and haven't let her down since.

Better make sure it's compatible. I bought it for my back door. The door is very old and the last doorknob has been used for at least 50 years. The door didn't stay closed. The same is happening with this NEW door knob. The entire part should be replaced, not just the handle. Too much hassle with returns.

I didn't like the fact that the two socket packs only contained one instead of two. It was almost impossible to contact anyone to fix the problem. The online form may be fine for America, but not for international purchases. You would expect contact in this country when shopping through the Revain NZ website.
