Great Filament at a Great Price

We had been printing with FDM for several years at this point and were using a specific brand of filament that we were happy with until the pandemic hit and prices went up. We started using this filament a few months ago and it printed like a dream! We use a hot end temperature of 205 degrees, much more than that causes problems. The prints are turning out great and I will be buying this filament from now on (assuming the quality doesn't change).

Pros
  • Additive Manufacturing Products
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Might actually be good quality if they spooled it correctly

Thread overlaps under different cords causing the cord in the feeder to pull and snap when really spooling it correctly has, this might be decent quality, but because the cord gets stuck and snaps in the feeder, leaving a line in the sensor. This causes the printer to recognize that the filament is still in the sensor and move on without actually feeding the filament into the printer. Very disappointed product and I have 4 different 3D printers that I have used this on and it snaps on all 4

Fragile and stringy right out of the box

This filament appears to have absorbed moisture at some point during the manufacturing process. How do you know? Well, it was very brittle (breaks easily) and stretched like no tomorrow in all temperature ranges for PLA. That tells me the filament absorbed a lot of moisture at some point, and mind you, that's straight out of the box and in a vacuum bag! I keep it in my dehydrator in hopes of bringing it back to life, but the filament doesn't have to be that fresh out of the box. It's a great…

Pros
  • 3D Printing Filament
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
