Description of Proto Drive Socket Pt J4720A

Proto 6 Point Sockets are ideal for use on stubborn or damaged fasteners and also on fasteners made from soft materials. The Torque Plus design is a high performance drive configuration which allows for quick and easy socket engagement to the fastener flats. The Torque Plus configuration employs a radius-corner design, shifting contact area and stress away from the fastener corners. The Torque Plus internal design minimizes fastener rounding, helps to extend fastener life.

Larger than my 3/8 drive of the same size

This slot is larger and taller than my 3/8 drive counterpart. I figured the point of the 1/4 drive was to have more clearance *shrug*

I was very surprised how deep this nest was. .

I was very surprised at how deep this outlet was. Let's call it a medium length rosette. However, I only had to fill this space in my Hansen outlet tray.
