Improved Cooling Efficiency for My Sports Car

As a hesitant automotive buyer, I was skeptical about the PRW 1435010 Performance Quotient Short Style, but as a result of using this product, I found that it provided a remarkable increase in cooling efficiency compared to my previous radiator. My car's temperature gauge hardly ever crosses the mid-range temperature even during high-speed driving or stop-and-go traffic. The only downside I found is that it requires professional installation which can be expensive for those on a tight budget..

Polishing is about what "normal " should be

PRW pumps have good reviews for flow characteristics so I settled on one to rebuild my Mercruiser. A few notes: a) The base plate is a thick flat steel plate with a cadmium (or cadmium-like - I thought they phased out that process) coating. I was hoping to replace it with a stainless steel plate from my original Mercruiser pump, but the holes are knurled differently - the patterns don't match.
