Received from Revain 3 days ago after much research based on feedback (everywhere!) about the jug lid falling off. I only wanted pure as our old one was completely dead and they filter best. I have always used the pure pot. and decided to buy a new one. Mine was so old and scratched and I was concerned that the plastic had become brittle with age. Update: I installed a replacement filter. The filter that came with the kit was an old model. The PUR replacement sent to me was a new and improved "faster" model advertised as a "twice as fast" filter. I poured 2 cups of water into the tank and it was empty in 2 minutes! The same amount of water took 20 minutes with the old filter, so the new filter is 10 times faster according to my test. I saw the water flow.
