🔴 Putco 92604 Red Rear Emblem for 2015-2022 Ford F-150 (Excludes Platinum & Limited models) Review

Looks great on my truck and lights up when the daytime running lights are on. I like that it also serves as an extra security/visibility at night. The black emblem looks much better on the truck during the day since my truck is lead gray and all black. Installation is very easy, takes about 30-60 minutes.

Well packaged and made. Illuminates with high beam. Also very bright. I don't know about other years, but in 2019 you need a shackle or a metal shackle that I drill into it with, otherwise you can't screw it on. This is the only reason for 4 stars other than that the product is great and looks great.

Works well, wiring was easy, the hardest part was removing the original emblem/badge. The image shown when ordering shows the illuminated icon. I thought when ordering that the unlit emblem would be red on a black background, but actually it's white letters on a black background until you turn it on

Will not work on f150 2015. Incorrect part as the buckles cannot be adjusted to the new badge. There are holes on the emblem but not drilled or drilled for attaching mounting screws. Others mention that a 3 meter tape was provided but I didn't get it with my kit. Ford's tailgate only allows for alignment of the farthest openings with no center panel. Impossible to install this without making your own mount.

I love the design and the light weight of the app. The downside of the design was that it was actually intended to replace the grille, not the tailgate. After removing the stock emblem from the tailgate, I proceeded to install the new emblem. The bolt holes were mismatched to allow for the use of the jam nuts included in the kit. An external hole on the back of the emblem would be a much better option for installing a tailgate than the stock screw holes. I had to add 2 side straps to the back…
