Steering feels solid

Easy and quick installation. It took about 30 minutes to finish. I can't say I feel a significant difference from the stock OEM sway bar, but I replaced all my shocks with Rancho brand shocks and thought that would be a nice addition. I've ridden both highway and forest trails since then and the steering feels solid.

Fit 12 JK 2dr Rubi with 3.5 RC Lift.

Good steering feel, requires no effort to handle although twice the size of a standard unit and seems to require twice the force to push the shaft. next to the deleted original. The steering wheel returns to the center position as before. 15k driven and no problems so far. Would buy again.

I have heavy 35 " tires so this works better for me than the stock

body completely white, housing red. I have heavy 35" tires so this works better for me than the stock shock. He seems to be having fewer strokes. If you don't want to spend money if your tires are under 35", I wouldn't replace the factory damper with this one unless it's damaged or leaking.

Great upgrade OEM Jeep

I bought these to upgrade the stock shocks in my Jeep. I'm not getting into unloading, but I wanted something better than OEM. I had read reviews that they rusted easily so before fitting I cleaned and applied a coat of Oleum to prevent rust. Once I was able to remove the existing rusty shock absorbers they were very easy to install. I didn't think I liked red shoe covers, but you can't tell.

Much better than stocks or Rubicon Express.

Installed on my 12 Rubicon with 2.5" Rock Krawler lift and stock 32" tires/17" wheels. Easy replacement and no side-slip associated with gas-charged stabilizer bar dampers. Swapped out the OEM shock from the Rubicon Express, which I didn't like as it didn't help much with steering and the wheels had to be straightened out after a turn. The Rancho 5418 had none of these problems. No instructions but nobody needs.
