Good for the chassis purely aesthetically

This lift kit is about looks, not functionality. If you want a dependable off-road lift, opt for shock absorbers and springs instead of spacers. Spacers only give the appearance of lifting. Shock absorbers and springs provide the look and feel of an elevator.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Exactly what Tacoma needs. Added Nitto Terra Grappler.

Just what Tacoma needed. Added Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires (265/70/R18) to my 2016 Limited Edition with stock wheels. Didn't have to redo anything Offset added 285 70 17 XD135 17x8.5 0. No reaming or cutting required.

Pros
  • One-year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Good kit, supplied as a kit and relatively easy to install. The included printed instructions could very well be printed by IKEA, they are terrible. You can go to this site but the video they show is from a different kit. The best content can be found on YouTube. Let's see if it can handle reading this summer.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

WILL NOT FIT TRD PRO

Will not fit Tacoma trd pro. Unfortunately this is not stated in the description. They tell you it fits TRD models. The trd pro already comes with trd springs that raise the front end 1 inch. So let's just do it. It will be all 3 inches forward and 2 inches back. Now my truck is higher in the front. Also, after installing this jack, both of my upper arms rub against the coil springs every time the suspension flexes. Wait, that's not all! The skid plate spacers are not enough to loosen the front

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

Works very well - shocks, struts and suspension

My only complaint about this product is the installation instructions. When they say to put spacers on the skid plate, they mean the front skid plate. When installing a differential on the TRD Off-Road, two skid plates are used. I don't know why people say it's hard. Not much different from stock. What makes your truck ride difficult is that after installing the lift, you add a heavier load strap e-tire. I rode lift only for 2 weeks and the ride was great, I put on big tires and the dealer…

  • Best

Could be a great kit with an extra piece!

After a little research I decided to get this kit for my 2019 Tacoma TRD Offroad 4-Door. Overall, I would only recommend this kit if you bought an additional part that is not included in the SST kit (see below). First the pros: 1. The kit is well packaged and well made. 2. Installation goes very smoothly even for someone with limited tools and mechanical experience. The only non-standard tool I needed was a grinder to trim the edge of the skid plate bracket when I lowered the diff spacer.3. The
