Great product! for parts

Easy to install + works as promised. Thanks to everyone who answered my question about the clasp + latch. Should have been installed in July 2010 when I bought my 2011.

Don't buy with a light hood.

While they appear sturdy and decent, I can't put them on my lighter non-original hood that I just put on. The shelves are so narrow I can't even slide them. I'm afraid of breaking something. We tried squeezing it a few times to loosen it a bit, but it's so stiff that it rips when I put it on when I close the hood. I think I need to find something easier to work with.

Product installation took about 30 minutes. Most of the time was spent figuring out exactly which existing holes were suitable for the installation. The instructions that came with the product are a bit vague due to the attached photos used in the instructions. I also had to move the sound tube mount. There are no instructions on how to perform this move. If you have a Mustang with a muffler (I have a 2013 GT), the molded rubber isolator needs to be turned over and cut in two to properly attach

A wonderful product that the tight-fisted folks at Ford drop to save a few bucks.

I installed a set of these racks on my 2019 Mustang so it was the first thing I ordered when I got the 2011. Give me a break, Ford, cheap prop bar for a $40,000 (or more) car? If you own a Mustang and do under the hood work or service then you really need to add these racks. Very easy to install. I know there are other brands but these puppies work great. The company even has good videos if you don't know how to install it, but for most people they can be added in about 15 minutes, although…

I got tired of using the hood stay on my 2008 Bullitt. There has been a lot of talk about different car shapes, as well as YouTube videos discussing the different brands of these hood pillars. I evaluated buoyancy versus strut placement. Depending on the brand, some spacers will attach closer to the firewall than others and some will require a hole to be drilled. I wanted the bolt ton to not be able to make extra holes and be strong enough to lift the hood unsupported. Most of these spacers…

Goodbye support!

Modifications include those that cost a little more but will provide a large return over the life of your vehicle. These Quicklift spacers are just such a mod! You can go for the stainless steel version for $40 more, but my personal interest was that my engine bay was mostly black and white. I actually had a set of Elite stainless steel Quicklift struts on another Mustang and they are well worth the extra money for what you get.
