Reese Rail 🔧 Kit Mounting Adapter 30156 Review

Fits perfectly on my 2019 F250 short bed with factory fifth wheel. It was tight at first, but I loosened the nuts, aligned per the instructions, tightened again and everything was perfect. My Reese 16K hitch was a perfect fit.

Easy to fit, fits and works well. The only thing that bothered me was that the tread part of the build was difficult because the treads weren't clean. I had to buy a 5/8 tap and die to clean the treads on the two pieces before reassembling. After that, the parts fit together perfectly.

This is very easy to install and works great. The only advice I have; Do not tighten the screws until they are in the holes in the truck bed. This makes it very easy to remove the hitch when not in use and it pulled my 13,000 lb trailer very well.

Works great with my Ford factory fitted fifth wheel. I was able to use my old Reese 5th Wheel receiver with this kit instead of drilling and installing standard bed rails. I am satisfied with the coupling adapter. The powder coating leaves a lot to be desired with a few spots where the powder has not bonded to the steel and will flake off with normal handling. Overall a good product and I saved a lot of money not having to buy a new tow hitch for the Ford bracket.

This thing saved me. I was determined to get an Andersen universal ball hitch for my 5th bike. I have factory discs on my 2012 f250 frame and the previous owner removed the pivot ball. This thing lets you use any fifth wheel with a Ford wash system. The best I can say about it is that it works with our 17 Ford F350 for two and the price is not bad. We have the Trailer Saver Air Hitch which fits perfectly. If you use one of these photo frame adapters, note that they add about 2 inches to the height of the hitch. Love this product, fraction of the cost on amazon.com compared to the RV dealer. Two things to consider when purchasing. When assembling, read the entire guide first, including the post-installation guide that tells you how to adjust the fit. Overall a good product that works. You should be able to assemble it if you can decipher the pictures, but it lacks written instructions. You will need a 1.5 inch wrench to tighten the nuts. I have an F350 SRW Diesel. This adapter worked great. It was less than the retailer and I didn't pay shipping. On the eve of my first hike, there were several tense moments where the hitch mounting holes barely lined up. There may be a problem, I can't tell this is an adapter.
