Works for dog guards!

This device has a very small latch so my large dogs can't use their noses to open the gate. I have a similar gate from another manufacturer and they can open it at will. You lose some of the convenience of the big latch, but I don't think a toddler would be able to open this gate as easily as others on the market. I know my 150lb dog will stop at the gate and not be able to open it. :) The gate has two wings with a bolt-on hinge, so it's easy to adapt to different opening styles. The ends…

Great for unique installations

This is a regular gate but it worked for our unique area of installation so I'm happy with it. Having a gate at the very top or bottom of the stairs is annoying, so we like these gates for these reasons. It creates a buffer zone for the stairs, it's much safer and easier. The downside is that it's not very well made. Our gate will fall apart, it will literally fall apart where the two sections meet, very dangerous so I tied them together and cut the tie so my pinky fingers wouldn't get cut. The

Ideal for open spaces - used to separate a 16ft toddler mobile home

My son started walking when I lived in an open plan mobile home. Keeping the kitchen safe from children was impossible, and at 16 feet wide, finding a gate that went through the entire house and separated the living room from the kitchen was a problem. Nothing sold at Walmart, Toys R Us, Target or anywhere else would work - they just weren't wide enough. It worked perfectly for us. It fits perfectly into the space and completely separates the kitchen from the living room. It has a door which…

Best quality baby gate I've seen without spending hundreds of dollars

This is the best safety gate I've seen. I have about 10 baby gates at home and none of them cost 2 cents. The pull gates just don't hold in place compared to a toddler - probably a baby, but definitely not a two-year-old boy. I've been using accordion-style wooden gates for a year, but they've only lasted this long thanks to liberal use of duct tape and good old-fashioned ingenuity. It is very durable, even on plastic hinges and wall mounts. The gate swings easily and smoothly and can be…
