I bought this player mainly for its region free capabilities. I never thought it would be so easy to use, right out of the box! I literally didn't need to set anything up, it came with instructions explaining how to switch between regions. It plays Blu-ray from ABC and DVD regions 1 to 6. Plays (b) Bluray regions flawlessly! I was a little hesitant to spend more than $300 on a new Blu-ray player, but my previous 4K device stopped working and I always wanted a region-free player. The first thing I did with this device was a DVD from another Region and a Bluray try out another zone. The DVD did a great job with no tweaking to the player. After inserting the blur for Zone B, a message appeared that Zone B will not play in this player. Then I downloaded the player as instructed and it worked fine. I was pleasantly surprised that when playing a Blu-Ray from another zone, you don't have to restart the computer to return to zone A. It switches zones by itself. I walked back…
