Description of πŸš€ Enhance Performance with Remflex 6003 Exhaust Gasket for Mopar V8 Engine (Set of 2)

1-1/16 inch width x 1-25/32 inch height Square End Ports; Mopar V8 - 318-360 (Stan's Headers Pattern), 1-1/16" x 1-25/32" Square End Ports, Headers, 2/Set. There are no rubber binders or composite materials in Remflex exhaust gaskets so they will not shrink or harden due to time or temperature eliminating the need to go back and continually retighten your flange bolts. Heating and cooling of the exhaust system causes header and manifold flanges to warp resulting in gaps between the head and header which Remflex exhaust gaskets seal completely due to the thickness and compressibility of the 100 percent flexible graphite. Remflex exhaust gaskets come in a standard 1/8 inch thickness and are designed to crush 50 percent allowing them to fill any pits or gaps in the flange surface up to 1/16 inch.

Slight damage during transport and installation

Quality seals that finally seal after being tightened several times. Slight damage during shipping and during installation. Should have bought Percy.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Interval

Works great: manifolds and accessories

Amazing seal, maybe the best although fragile. Exhaust sounds are now properly present, tailpipe as it should be great for 360 v8 4x4 ramcharger headers

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are cons

It would be great if the shipping company was more careful.

Looks like it's going to be a great product. Unfortunately, I received it on Friday and the shipping company buckled the packaging. Both seals were torn in the middle. I had to drive a truck on Saturday so I installed them and hoped for the best. The outer cylinders are well sealed, but the part where it bends leaks. Pity! Not Remflex's fault. I think I'll order another set. Too bad I only had to do this once!

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Easily seals cheap manifolds

I decided to fit manifolds to my Dodge Van and bought a special cheap manifold. After replacing a double gasket, sealant and even the manifolds I couldn't fix a few small leaks. Then I came across these seals in the forum of the site. After a simple install, the leaks I struggled with for months are gone! I will never use any other gaskets than these on my manifolds! As others have said, be careful not to bend when installing as they are brittle and will delaminate.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Functionality

So far it's working as described

For the last 19 years I have been struggling with an exhaust leak on my 340 Dodge Challenger. I had two things against me: Hedman headers are cheaper than high-end headers, so their flange is thinner, and all small Mopar blocks have 5/16" muffler bolts that loosen if you overtighten them . Before Remflex, I tried doubling the pads, cutting them so there were three separate pads, and adding high temp silicone, all with the same tick-tick-tick noise after a while. Remflex is a thicker material so

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
