1) The ceramic must have dropped because it cracked and fell out. 2) The relay eliminated the faint light but created a new problem. Once the high beams are on, they won't turn off unless you turn the lights off and on again. 3) Wiring was too short to get to another fixture without splicing a few feet of extra wire. was right through the fan shroud which looks ridiculously silly and even then it still had to be too short and not attached properly, hanging outdoors etc. 1989 Chevrolet K1500 4x4

The wiring harness runs over the radiator. First I saw other videos and thought that it goes under and in front of the radiator, but not over and a little behind the radiator (I didn't look at the instructions). 2 problems solved for me. 1st - I was able to convert my very weak headlights to LEDs. 2. - My high beam switch was not working properly. My headlights just went out completely, and the low beam didn't come on either. Now my high beam switch works as expected, I have high beam, I have no idea how it affected the switch and yes my old headlights worked properly. Wiring harness barely reaches my other headlight. Grounding a module without screws or finding a mounting location without simply removing the battery and using a hand drill is a challenge. You could have used a heavier ground pin on these modules and it could have been done better. It was cheap and it works, but hardly in a Jeep XJ. You have enough room to connect it to the battery, but if it was a Wrangler's rear battery, rip out the shrink wrap and extra wire to close the gap. It would be…
