I have found an exact match here to a previous fuel cap that was used on my Toyota Matrix for at least 8 years. I bought a replacement cap at my local auto parts store but it took a couple of pliers to get the cap off easily with these old hands. This hat not only fits well, but is also easy to put on and take off.

This is not an OEM product. Very close in appearance but does not solve the check engine light problem. Good thing I have a code reader so I don't have to spend money to bring a car to check my Land Cruiser. I'll just remove the codes myself and buy a matching OEM Toyota cover. What a waste of money, doesn't work. Do not buy. Avoid!

Fits my 2004 Toyota Sequoia but the tether is much shorter than the stock tether and has no 's' marking. The staff here seem to have a harder time putting the cap on the holder by the gas door and most just give up and let the cap hang. My experience mimics theirs, the cap works fine, the cable doesn't work due to its length and stiffness.

The tank cap is not original or made with a defect. The rubber O-ring was visibly damaged and was not forming a vacuum seal as evidenced by numerous check engine lights and a very strong smell of gasoline. I bought a replacement gas cap to fix the check engine light on my car only to have the light come back on after the first stop to fill up. When examining a new lid I found that there was virtually no sealing factor as the lid clicked and would not close after being partially rotated. To fix the check engine light I cleaned the tank filler neck as well as the gasket on the old cap and after resetting the check engine light I had no more problems.
