Cap broke within days and I found out about an expensive mechanic visit I could buy direct from the dealer for $20 or less!

Well it fits perfectly and after 200k I probably should have replaced it. However, my stupid message did not disappear from my odometer. I know this is a generic message and could be somewhere in the system, but it's related to a gas cap. Well, it's not the lid's fault. I'm happy with that.

This is perfect for our Dodge Grand Caravan and so far has not caused the dreaded 'Check Engine' light to come on. The finish around the rim isn't as smooth as the factory part, but other than that I have nothing to complain about. Only time will tell how durable it is. Sometimes replacement parts are not made from the quality materials needed to last.

I got this to replace the gas cap on a 2011 Town and Country that is listed as a compatible vehicle. My old gas cap still works, but the cable that attaches it to the car broke and it hurt me to hold it while filling up. Installing this new gas cap was very easy, but after a few turns the cap started to wobble a lot, both side to side and up and down, which immediately made me suspicious. The problem was not long in coming. Just 24 hours later, maybe 3 rides later, my check engine light came on
