DO NOT BUY THIS. NEED A NEW MOTOR NOW

Belt snapped due to a faulty tensioner, now I probably need a new motor. DO NOT BUY . These parts are cheap quality and can cause serious damage to your engine like mine. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Not worth the headache

Timing belt tensioner was wrong. It's not properly finished, so there's no way to fit a strap. I had to use another car to run to the dealer and buy a tensioner. Factory tensioner installed and everything works.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Negative present

great package deal!

A good set. I used it on a 2014 Honda Odyssey Van. My tensioner has lost hydraulics. My friend had an elevator. I kept part of the kit and just changed the tensioner and serpentine belt. Take care of my engine rattle. Better quality snake belt than the Dayco brand.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Avoid. Poor quality, best in timing belt kits

Do not avoid buying completely. Only 5 months / approx. 14,000 miles. The tensioner failed and snapped the belt. Fortunately, all 3.0 and 3.2 Honda v6 engines do not interfere. Only offer spare parts. The least they could do was give a partial refund for defective parts.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Write later

This will destroy your car

I wish I could give negative stars. 6 weeks after installation and 1500 miles later my belt snapped and the engine is full of fiberglass lint. I cannot contact this company at all. This is unacceptable and I will reach them one way or another. I need to send them a repair bill.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Volume

Delivered quickly but water pump kit was defective

I liked that the Saturn water pump kit parts arrived quickly. Other items in the package were good. But the water pump was defective. Actually worse than the water pump, which had to be replaced. You have to get your car on the road. So I decided not to return/replace (if not needed) but to go to the dealer to get a water pump. I took a risk and lost. Purchased: Timing Belt and Water Pump Kit - Compatible with Honda, Acura and Saturn - Accord, .

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not as thick as other kits

The tensioner is unusable. Addendum: Belt snapped. Now I need a new engine.

Most parts looked OK but the tensioner was useless. Look at the picture why I couldn't use the tensioner. The one on the left is the old one and the one on the right is from this kit. Update: About a month after installing it on my 2008 Honda Odyssey, the belt broke. Now I need a new engine. Does this lifetime guarantee include a new engine or van? I doubt. Update: after a few months of support they got me to send the parts in for review. Then they say I must have damaged the belt by prying it…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best
