Better than quick release

I hated the click of my rear axle with quick release skewers when I pedaled, bought them and problem solved. Works in Attention now my bike is very quiet.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • So so

Stop fixing a swamp that doesn't need fixing

Simple, basic. Many of the new skewer designs are just overpriced junk. Quickly come up with a brilliant new idea for a problem that doesn't exist. Sure until you make one. I mostly look at you Track!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not the best

Suitable for Niner RKT 9 RDO 2017

Assembling the Niner RKT 9 RDO 2017 from the frame. I couldn't find exact rear thru axle specs on the Ninner website, so I bought them based on some specs I found about the length and thread requirements for the 2016 Niner RKT 9 RDO. It fits perfectly!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

Use carefully, the head is a little soft.

The screw head is a little soft and the surface is easy to remove. Make sure you have at least a 1/4-1/2 inch hex screwdriver (5mm, not 6mm) inside before screwing it on or off. To be honest I am very concerned and worried about its durability and long term use. As we all know, it's very smooth and light compared to the Maxle Ultimate, but I wasn't expecting it to be so "tender". If the aluminum stock surrounding the hex hole was made a bit stiffer, this axle would be perfect.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
