Steel screws are good!

I ordered steel screws after receiving feedback about cutting aluminum heads. The steel studs are well polished and look great. I was able to tighten all 5 screws with no problems and no hiccups. If you don't need a colored stud, the steel version is a good choice.

Good item, works well, great price

They look good and seem to be well made and the price is right. It's aluminum so durability is good but not like titanium or anything like that. I think they would be perfect for the trail riding I plan to do on my refurbished 95 foot custom stump jumper.

Don't pull them like an idiot and complain about it.

I've had theses for a while and we were on some of the toughest terrain the Pacific Northwest had to offer, yet on a hardtail. Lasting colors without scratches or damage. Good business. Stop dragging things out, get out there and send it!

Excellent customer service!

Hey I originally got these bolts and two of them snapped with normal use - I torqued them to 9Nm and bam. I was upset and disappointed and asked for a refund. No problem - they refunded my money and didn't force me to return anything which definitely came in handy. However, they did everything they could to contact me and send me a new set for free! Excellent customer service - who knows, maybe the ones I originally got were a bad batch or a weird accident, but I certainly appreciate them…

Head engages with multiple aluminum screws

Bought as a spare. When I used the bolts I used a torque wrench to the correct 12Nm which is stated on the bolts. I alternately tightened the bolts to avoid overstressing a bolt. And I tightened a quarter turn at a time. One of the bolts I used broke at 3Nm and one broke at 9Nm, every time the head came loose, this was well before the required 12Nm marked on the aluminum bolt I was able to screw the 3rd bolt to myself get going. I was lucky enough to purchase this set as a backup when…
