It's good, but.: Hardware

Since so many people care so much about how good they are, I wanted to present something even better. They're really good, but they're exactly the same as bungee cord at the right size for your needs. but you can tune it to be good every time. They are good, but only time will tell. I'll update if they slow down or something. As long as they look good.

Rok straps, flat strap best

Rok straps are great. I use them on my Harley. Earlier this year I was on an overland trip and the lid of my travel backpack fell off in a storm when I opened it. I've used two of these straps to keep it in place for over 2000 miles with no issues. It's easy to tie and adjust, and the snap connection makes it easy to plug in and unplug.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • unreliable

They seem too flimsy

The straps work very well and survived my 700 mile trip. However, make sure you create the layout on your bike. I received them the day before I left and had to spend a little time figuring out where to put them and aligning them so I could actually tighten them. They may seem too flimsy, but once you try them you'll know they're legal.

Pros
  • a good thing
Cons
  • Useless features

Great, I love the design of the wraparound strap end.

Didn't realize they don't have hooks just sewn loops to tighten around the bike frame member, this is a great idea, it means I can keep them connected without them falling off even if I take them out of my pocket. I've used them to attach my 6 pound tool roll to the roll bar during several hundred miles of on and off road driving and have never had to adjust or tighten them!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Very expensive

Excellent - not what I expected

So I thought the entire length of this strap looked like a bungee but it's actually only 5-6 or inches of bungee cord stretched and the rest is a normal strap. . I was still able to attach it to a bike basket and it is very easy and convenient to attach and adjust, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Only took off one star because it is described as "rubber band" and the photos only show a short elastic. But in reality it is basically a strap and a small elastic strap.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Not the best for bungee cords

I ordered this smaller size to use with my bike when eating a small lunch. Unfortunately, one of the belts just after the gate doesn't work. I've tried working with it and fixing it, but the belt doesn't tighten in any way. I have used large straps and they work great and one small strap that works works great but the other is definitely defective. Be sure to try them right now and don't wait until you use them like I did and find them buggy.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Big and bulky

These items are essential and ideal for most strapping needs.

They are very high quality and an essential part of my adventure bike load up. They don't seem too bothered by the elements and are easy to care for and store away when not in use. I would recommend them to anyone who has versatile strapping needs. My only complaint is that they are slightly more expensive but there is no substitute. So if you want something to work that's well managed, you're going to have to spend money.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not the best
