Consumer Electronics

I've never owned a sound system. My daughter and her husband have a very expensive one, which of course is much better than this one. They have four speakers in the room and one above, so it's like the theater. I'm hard of hearing, but I can't afford a hearing aid at the moment. So I was looking for a soundbar and this one seems to have the best reviews. Amazing sound quality - you won't be disappointed

Update: I added a subwoofer and WOW! The room offers a great home theater experience with great depth and clarity. I highly recommend buying both, but the standalone soundbar is a complete solution in its own right. I've been looking for a soundbar for my Samsung TV for a long time. Because of the trade-off between quality and price, I've had a hard time buying a cheap soundbar versus expensive brands. About a week ago, some friends suggested I check out the Roku soundbar. Takes my theater room sound to the next level!

I have been using Roku devices for many years and love them! They are easy to use - my kids are pros and it's easy for me to get all the content I need. I haven't had a cable for two years! Great article but quirky - try disabling the one-click setting!

The Roku soundbar is a great value and combines Roku features with a great sounding soundbar that can be heard very clearly over a large radius and quite a distance from an enclosed garage lol . Connectivity issues are the only negative thing about this device. If you have a TV with an HDMI ARC connection, everything runs smoothly. If you don't, just use a regular HDMI connector and choose not to have an ARC connector during setup. During setup, Roku will ask you to select your TV's connection…

Buy it! TV and video

Just what I needed. I had a non-smart TV with a Roku key, but I ended up giving the key to my son. Then about a week later I noticed my TV speakers were creaking and blowing out 😫 I know the wise decision is to just buy a new "smart" TV.
