Rousseau 3509 9 Inch 12 Inch 8 Inch Review

I installed it on a table saw table. I have a cheap portable saw that I hung from a piece of plywood. I didn't want my own table as I just don't have the space. The set I have is disassembled and put on shelves or out of the way. I installed it in the socket instead of the wing as it suits me better. I'm trying to get used to the raised part in the middle, which seems odd but works well.

I think hobby carpenters might find this difficult to install. It is a pity that this company does not have a website with help. no This company does not make the installation process easy. After reading the idiotic instructions, try to find a website where you "should" find instructions for your router and installation instructions. Not so. Be sure to visit their website to see if you can install it with your router.

Funny how many complain about the raised center. Most milling bits I have measured and/or read have a recessed/concave center (although they are sold as "flat"). the center of the disk where the bit is. If the center is concave, which is what you should be doing, pretty much anything you do will have a curve in it as the piece goes in and out of the indentation. Stupid. I don't use router tables for a lot of things, but I prefer to dress mortise, splines, and lugs on a router table than on a table saw. Mainly because in many cases these rills/grooves/dados stop. Now that it's on sale it works well but it was more work than I thought it would have to do. One of the "features" of the product is that it works with 3/4" thick countertops. Almost all router table designs require 1 1/2" thick MDF lamination. The leveling screws were not long enough to fit on my 1 1 /2" table to work (without sinking them at the bottom of the table).
