Great PLA! The Best 3D Printing Consumables

I've been looking for a PLA that will give me a good "metal" finish and I think I've found it! I've used Rust-Oleum's Metallic Gold to prime and color my prints, but after using this PLA I don't need to do that again! This silky PLA captures light beautifully and creates a true metallic look. Next time I will definitely try their "silver". Can't beat the price and the free gifts are a nice touch. I'm using an Ender 3 and set the nozzle temp to 205 degrees, the bed to 50. Strange Thermal Issues

One good thing to say about this is that the color and finish are fantastic. able to find a configuration that works for this filament. When it's extruded it comes out of my nozzle in a thicker line than the other filaments (perhaps with higher viscosity?) which is strange, but the real problem is about 8mm from my print bed, which I believe is due to heatbeds is , the filament does not conduct as well. This results in about 3mm of horribly bad layers, after that it kind of corrects itself, but

Proven filament with good color

First people asked if there was metal (or even gold) in the thread. no (Really $22 a roll?) It was sealed very well in a thick pouch with the air removed. The bag is not reusable. They also included samples of all their "Silk" threads, about 2-3 meters long, and some nozzle cleaners. The kit also includes a card telling you to contact them directly if you have a problem.
