Works great for a clean install. However, you must create your own power supply. The car computer will not turn off the stereo when you turn the key off, and your stereo will remain on at all times unless you turn it off manually. It's not really a detail error, but it would be nice if they noted it in their description. Not knowing added unexpected time to the installation and a lot of research and testing as to why the stereo won't turn off.

It connects well and works great with factory speakers. No change required. However, there is a catch. I have a 2006 Jetta MK5 and there is no ignition power source on this harness as the main unit is powered on by logic from CAN-BUS. This way the stereo won't turn off when you first set it up and plug it in. You must cut the ignition source power cable and connect it to another source. I found one in the fuse box and used a fuse for it. Now it is turned on and off with the key.

Works on 03 MK4 GTI with Monsoon 2DIN Radio. (Aftermarket single din installed). The problem with the MK4 GTI is that the stock radio has a fancy solid state thing that somehow turns on when the ignition is switched on. Don't ask me how it works. Both Revain Garage and Scosche (in Q&A) state this adapter fits the Sprinter van radio. It is not. Please see the photo I have attached of Metra 70-9401. You need that.
