The end result was good

I used glue in the 5/8" holes on the Jon boat and then lightly hammered in the bushings with a hammer. The oarlocks attached to the oars were tight so I had to insert a 1/2" bit and drill out to "clear out" the inner diameter of the bushings. In the end everything fits perfectly, quietly, nothing rattles.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Clarity

I am ordering two more sets today for backup purposes.

Product as advertised. The rudders slide in these mounts - they don't creak or make noise. Very soft. I'm ordering two more sets for backups today. I have equipped the canoe with oars and hope for long canoe trips. I am delighted with this product.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Damaged

Attach it to your boat or risk losing it

I got my boat out for some reason. I had to turn the boat. only 1 could be found after the fix. Suggest to stick them with hot glue so they can be removed later if needed. A 1/2" black HDPE drip garden hose works VERY similarly. You can cut it off and heat it. If you have some and you're a cheap guy like me.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Disappearance

Unused but perfect solution

I inherited the dehumidifier with the house I just bought but the previous owner left no drain hoses so I had to re-install it and this product was perfect for hooking one up garden hose when using the original cover that does not have a standard hose thread. FYI the dryer is Friedrich d70bp.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great product! in the Sport category

THANK YOU! I was looking around the area for something to put in the holes that were too big for our oarlocks and nobody could think of anything we could use, so I found this. Doesn't matter! Now we can catch more fish because the sound of the oversized holes is gone! I'm ordering a second set because I forgot we have 2 sets of holes in our old fishing boat! Perfect fit, good quality, great improvement!

Pros
  • Hard-wearing surface
Cons
  • Not the best

Poor product, take the best

Scrap quality, one broke on installation, it fits the universal paddle mount snugly so I applied wd40 vigorously and gently tapped it with a rubber mallet, 1st went ok, 2nd .and the outer rim is chipped quite badly and I can see it won't last long, the structural integrity is broken, I wouldn't buy it again. Spend a little more money and get a higher quality set.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

ID tolerance should be better.

Probably the best solution for your aluminum rowboat fishing machine. They correspond a little to my requirements for a rowing frame. These bushings have an ID of .520 and my paddlelock has an OD of .502 so I have more play than I would like. It really should be +/- 0.005. The bushing OD is slightly better at .620, but with a combined tolerance this introduces unwanted backlash into the system. I'll use it for a while, but with a large ID, it will most likely wear out sooner.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Nothing here
