Type of review

Very well-made, heavy duty metal rotating straight bar with very comfortable, slightly padded, contoured TPE grips. I think this is a great bar, especially for the price, and recommend it highly. I have other Seleware exercise equipment and they are all well made.SPECSAccording to the manufacturer, the bar comes in 18” and 22” lengths. (See suggestions below on choosing the appropriate length.) My 18” bar only measured 17 1/4” long. The main portion of the bar is a thick 26mm (1”) in diameter…

Pros
  • The attachments are suitable for users of all fitness levels, making them an ideal choice for beginners and experienced gym enthusiasts alike
Cons
  • Rubber handle grip can become slippery when wet with sweat

Let me tell you straight ahead - I am very impressed with this bar! The quality of manufacturing is excellent, they are heavy-duty, well built, all metal, and heavy weight. This bar is infinitely better than the cheap bar with foam handles that came with my home gym Smith machine. I've been working out quite a bit in my home gym and I use a straight bar to do a variety of strength exercises. Yesterday, I finally unpacked this new shiny bar and gave it a try. The freely rotating bar makes a…

Pros
  • The SELEWARE Cable Machine Attachments are affordable and provide excellent value for money
Cons
  • The D handle and rotating straight bar can be difficult to attach to the pulley system

Very sturdy and comfortable to hold

This is perhaps one of the best handles on revain not just at this price point which is incredibly. It is well made and the sturdiness gives a sense of security. I use them with resistance bands and they make bicep curls, lateral raise, overhead press and many other exercises easy to perform. The only thing I hoped was that they made the ropes a bit shorter.

Pros
  • The SELEWARE Cable Machine Attachments are easy to install and can be connected to any standard cable machine
Cons
  • The resistance band attachment is not as effective for building strength and endurance as other gym equipment

This is the one to get for rubber band use on door frames.

Its got all the necessary things packaged in its design -- ready to do the job for you. Sturdy (very strong cord.) and attached carabiners finally let you use rubber bands (like the chin up assist type - NOT the Theraband type units.). Good price and handles are just the right size (diameter / length) - not too small . You can get the grip you need to pull a fairly large size band - probably max at some where between 50-75 lbs. If they are deployed correctly (safely.) its almost like having a…

Pros
  • Satisfaction Guarantee
Cons
  • The resistance band attachment can get tangled and knotted during workouts

Great quality and fit

Bottom Line: Really good bar. I can't think of anything that could be done to improve it.I recently purchased an Inspire FTX Home Gym which uses a cable and pulley system for resistance. The adjustable pulleys allow a wide variety of exercises with different attachments. The system came with a few, but lacked a short, straight bar. That's where this bar came into play.I attached it to the carabiner on the cable and went to work. I have average man-sized hands and wear medium men's gloves and…

Pros
  • Not as sturdy as I expected, but it gets the job done.
Cons
  • The resistance band attachment is not strong enough to handle heavy weights

Great Quality, Rotates Smoothly, Does the Job

I ordered this straight bar attachment mainly to do tricep pushdowns and bicep curls on my cable machine. After reading some of the reviews stating that the 18-inch bar seemed short, I opted for the 22-inch straight bar. The bar measured as advertised. I am glad that I went with the 22-inch bar because I feel that this gives you more options for hand placement and where you feel comfortable gripping the bar. The grips on each side of the bar are about 6 inches wide (the inner shaft is 10 inches

Pros
  • Sturdy
Cons
  • The pulley system is not as stable as other gym equipment

so far no complaints!

I have a Bowflex cable machine which has been super useful for doing a lot of different exercise movements, but it didn't come with the right attachments to do various tricep and curl cable movements.I picked up this bar and its great. it clips easily to the carabiners included with the Bowflex. The center collar rotates easily and freely around the bar. The rubber handles are comfortable enough.Overall very pleased with this item. Works great! Now I can do more movements correctly.

Pros
  • This works perfectly with my pulley system. The grip is nice and easily attaches.
Cons
  • The universal pulley system cannot handle heavy weights as effectively as other gym equipment

Good cable attachment option

Great option for a cable machine or lat pulldown machine. It is a good length that works well for a wider grip row or a narrower grip lat pulldown. It is also very good for cable bicep curls and could also be used for tricep pushdowns. The rubber grips feel really comfortable on your hands and rotate for extra comfort during reps or set up.Solid, quality construction, with a metal bar and non-slip rubber covered handles. It feels sturdy and well-made when being used.

Pros
  • The SELEWARE Cable Machine Attachments are built with high-quality materials that ensure maximum durability
Cons
  • The universal pulley system takes up a lot of space in a gym

Commercial gym quality

I recently bought the Fitness Reality power cage with Lat pull down cable attachments and I really love it, but I don't like the 20" straight bar with foam handles that came with it. The SELEWARE 22" rotating bar is an excellent upgrade; the quality of this bar is the same as the ones I have used at commercial gyms; it is well made, heavy duty, and heavy weight. The rubber grips provide great grip and comfort when using heavy weight. I highly recommend this bar for home gym.

Pros
  • Great device
Cons
  • The D handle and rotating straight bar tend to slip during workouts, causing potential injury

I am so impressed that I don't know where to start. The quality of manufacturing is excellent, they are heavy-duty, well built, made of thick metal, and heavy weight. These D-handles are infinitely better than cheap plastic tubes with a nylon strip looped through that came with my home gym Smith machine. I don't know how many times I have hurt my hand with these cheap plastic handles because the nylon stripe would rub against my hand's skin when I do pull exercises and would cause bruises. With

Pros
  • Exercise Machine Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • The Cable Machine Attachments are not ideal for beginners and those new to weightlifting

This rotating 22” chrome plated bar has great grips for safety, much better than the soft foam wraps that eventually wear through over time. The center of the bar where you hook up to your cable system has a very smooth rotation (bearing system). I have two black powder coated bars that are used for pull downs, push downs, curls, rowing, etc… I now prefer this new 22” bar for roughly 90% of my workout routine that requires using my cages two cable systems. It is very solid and feels like I can…

Pros
  • The rotating straight bar allows for a more dynamic range of motion during exercises, maximizing muscle activation and growth
Cons
  • Rubber handles can lose their grip over extended use

Perfect for bi's and tri's

I bring this attachment as well as a few others with me to the gym regularly so I don't have to fight with the other people for attachments and kill my pump while waiting. The length of the bar is the perfect length for what its intended use is, allowing you to do both curls and pushdowns with the perfect range of motion that really helps you get that pump and burn that I strive for during my gym days. The grips on each side are very durable and show no signs of having issues any time soon and…

Pros
  • Exercise & Fitness
Cons
  • The resistance band attachment is not suitable for individuals with limited mobility

We had to lubricate it before it would operate smootly

The bar appears to have been in a humid environment for some length of time because there is a lot of rust in the metal, making it not turn as smoothly as it should. We used some Super Lube Synthetic Lubricant (what we use on my pulley machine) to help it get moving; the piece will need to stay on a rag while hopefully the lube works its way through and gets rid of the rust without spilling solvent all over the weight room floor. Functionality-wise, it is really nice. there are padded grips…

Pros
  • The attachments come in a compact size and are easy to store, making them ideal for home gym setups
Cons
  • Rubber grip handles can cause blisters and calluses on the hands

Great alternative to OEM replacement part

I ordered this for use in the gym at my office. The power rack is missing a lot of parts and I shopped around for OEM replacements. I’ve been wanting to use the lat pull down for a while and decided to pick up this straight bar. It clips right in with the machine and works perfectly as described. Great range of motion and it’s comfortable in the hand. This is a great option if you don’t want to spend too much on an OEM part.

Pros
  • I like it but in picture it showed the bands. I thought it came with it.
Cons
  • The description states the handles ROTATE, mine DO NOT!

Perfect Mid-size Bar Attachment

I used this in my most recent chest/triceps workout, and I loved it. I typically do triceps pushdowns twice a week: once with a v-bar and once with a straight bar. My current straight bar is great, don't get me wrong - but it's a 16" bar and I wanted some wider grip variation without trying to thread the needle using a lat pulldown bar inside my squat cage (where my pulley system is). This Seleware straight bar was the perfection solution. At 22" length, it gave me the ability to do wider grip…

Pros
  • The non-slip D handle ensures a comfortable and secure grip for users during intense workout sessions
Cons
  • The resistance band attachment is not as effective as free weights for building muscle

Seems great in my review

I got this to go with my personal compact cable machine. It came with some accessories, but no straight bar. I love this kind of attachment for working biceps, but it's also great for triceps and other things. Once I unpacked it it was a bit shorter than I thought it would be, but that's on me for ordering the 18" rather than the 22" It is solid and feels well built. I imagine it will be quite durable. It clipped onto my machine with no issues. The handles do offer good grip, but seem pretty…

Pros
  • The universal pulley system is versatile and can be used in a wide range of exercises, including lat pull downs, tricep pushdowns, and cable curls
Cons
  • The Cable Machine Attachments are not suitable for outdoor use

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very Comfortable for my opinion

I received the 22" version of this product, and don't think I would have enjoyed the 18" as much. I found the 22" to be just right for having the capability of doing lat pull downs and tricep pull downs. The centerpiece where a cable would attach rotates freely; I found this difficult for attaching initially, but did not find it to be troublesome after installing.I like the rubber grips on the ends. I haven't had to worry about slipping when working out as my hands can get sweaty. This a good…

Pros
  • great addition to my total gym. sturdy bar and comfortable to hold.
Cons
  • The SELEWARE Cable Machine Attachments can get easily damaged

Just what I needed: my feedback

I got this to actually use with my resistance bands for at home door work outs.Knowing it's actually meant for gym cable machines I wasn't surprised when my resistance band carabiners were too small to latch on to the thick metal piece on the bar. That was an easy fix though and I just used large carabiners and I was good to go.This is a solid bar, comfortable grip, and very versatile and portable that I can use it at home with my resistance bands or take it to the gym with me if I needed…

Pros
  • The rubber handle grip provides added comfort and support during exercises, reducing the strain on wrists and hands
Cons
  • The pulley system is too loud and distracting in a quiet gym environment

Good looking bar in my review

The bar arrived well packaged, and no issues. The bar has very comfortable end handles, and rotates freely around the cable attachment connection. Using the bar, it is very comfortable and functions as advertised.

Pros
  • Exercise Machine Attachments
Cons
  • The Cable Machine Attachments are too bulky to store in small spaces

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Bar Attachment

I have the 22" version of this bar and I love it, so I figured, why not get the 18" as well. Excellent bar. Very comfy handles. Really well made. Should last for years and years. Good price too. Recommended.

Pros
  • The resistance band attachment allows for an added level of resistance, making workouts more challenging and effective
Cons
  • The D handle and rotating straight bar can be too narrow for individuals with larger frames
