This really sharpens scissors. I have sharpened sewing scissors, barber scissors, etc. At first I didn't think it would work because the scissors were very difficult to get through the machine, but the sharper the scissors got the easier it went. I am very happy with this gadget.

I've used this product since it was first released and I love it. I hunt and fish so the size is ideal for field use. But this is for home use again, love this product. I would like to find replacement heads, if anyone can help please let me know.

Wanted to use this with scissors. I have used other sharpeners like this one. Put the scissors in the slot and as soon as I start pulling the scissors out, the carbide sharpener snaps. There's not a lot of pressure on him. Light scissors. waste of money. Don't send them back, I just threw them in the trash. There has never been a set like this before. Others lasted until the carbide rod wore out. I may have gotten a bad one, but I won't try the cheap ones again.
