The metal loop detached completely from the collar which was a month old when it was attached to the leash. The dog ran away and collided with the roadway. The metal loop built into the leather collar literally snapped - the leather didn't snap, and the metal loop that the leash hangs from the collar ripped in half while the dog was tied to the leash. Terrible quality.

The metal D ring broke in half and I had to run after the dog. This collar only gives the illusion of a quality product. Extremely dangerous and not recommended. My dog's previous collar lasted over 3 years with no problems and it was just a cheap collar from a local pet store. Overall I am very disappointed and will request a return/refund.

Little doggy Marco, who loves to catch a lady, loves showing this collar off to all the doggie girls at the park. He particularly likes that there is an extra holder for his ID tag, which makes it very easy for him to distribute his numbers. Nice collar but too big. Our 55 pound lab mix has a 17" neck, but the collar had to be removed an inch or two to fit, so we had to go back. The size doesn't fit, so be careful when you're on the doorstep like us. UPDATE: Support contacted us right after our initial review. They sent us a smaller size and even offered us a discount! This is customer service now! They said they also updated the product dimensions so they should be more accurate going forward. This collar is beautiful.

When ordering this collar, order some mink oil and wipe the collar down to protect it from water and to hide any scuffs or scratches. When the collar arrived and we fitted it for our pup, she scratched in a few spots. It wasn't very noticeable and after treatment with mink oil, they disappeared. The collar design is awesome. This is a really nice, well made collar. The leather looks high quality, the stitching is neat and strong, and the hardware feels solid. I *loved* the leash loop and separate pendant loop, so clever! But there's one really big downside: the holes are pretty far apart, which means that either: 1.
