I bought this as the final component of the cold air intake system I installed on my '79 Corvette. I used a single inlet Specter chamber and a 45 degree straight pipe to connect the carburetor to the hood area. <Original review> This item comes in a very nice box clearly marked 9604 4" Speed Stack Adapter. 6" OD as described but 3.5" inner diameter. In terms of airflow, there's a huge difference between a 3 1/2" pipe and a 4" pipe. Not to mention it won't fit. a 400 mile Auto with a 1/2" tolerance above me.
