The price can't match the quality!

I put off buying a stand for a while but after getting this one I wish I hadn't waited. Great stand, especially for the money. Easy to store, durable and non-slip in use. I've built a bike with it and have cleaned and adjusted several bikes with no problems. It's unbeatable in terms of price.

Pros
  • Long Lasting Test Results
Cons
  • Discontinued

Works for me after small repairs

Does everything I need. I only gave it 4 stars because the head clip that clamps the seatpost was never tightened enough to hold the bike securely. It's like the stock nut doesn't hold properly when tightened. Easy fix, 10 cent washer and 30 cent nut from your local hardware store. I left the stock nut and just put an extra washer and nut on top and now everything works great. I only wish it had happened like this. Otherwise I would buy it again.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Worth every penny: Work stand

Bought for occasional maintenance on my commuter and mountain bikes. For the price you really can't beat it. It's light, strong enough if you adjust it carefully when removing the wheels, and folds up fairly compactly for storage. If you pull the front end or whatever, you might need to strain one of your legs or adjust the bike's clamp position, but be careful and you'll be fine. The extra stabilizer is a good idea but a bit wonky. use, everything else works great and feels solid. I highly…

Good updated old style stand

I have an ebike shop and bought a similar stand in 2012. This is an updated version of an old one and it works great. The problem I had with the old stand was that it had little grommets to attach the head angle to the bike. The new one uses a much stronger locking mechanism that works well. The old stand had a fixed worktop that was in the stand under the bike. Difficult to get parts/tools. The new one places the tray outside where it is easily accessible. Hold a 50# bike no problem. Once you…

Bike rack clamp won't tighten

Bike rack arrived on time, well designed and easy to fit. I've used it to adjust and swap out parts on two old 35 pound steel frame bikes. As others have mentioned it wasn't very durable so I tried to hold the bike when doing heavy work but it seemed fine. My only complaint is that the M8 1.25 bolt that attaches the bike to the frame slips in the nut so I couldn't tighten the clamp. I contacted Sportneer through the Revain website, reported the problem, and asked for a replacement bolt and nut.

Easy to use! - Bike Tools and Maintenance

Why buy a ParkTool or similar? I was wondering if that would fit. I watched a few demo videos and thought it was definitely worth the risk for the money. I just used this to do a bit of work on my carbon stumpjumper. I took the stand out of the box, I hardly had to consult the instructions, there was so little to do to set it up, I was up and running in minutes. Sure, it's not super-heavy work because it's not a steel stand, but it didn't seem like it would have a problem with twice the weight…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

Decent product, good customer service

The first comment I have to make is the quality; It's a decent bike stand, but not a heavy-duty rack. It says it can hold up to 60 pounds, but I put a 35 pound fat bike on the stand and it nearly collapsed. The vertical tube locking mechanism needs to be turned quite hard and I'm afraid this will cause serious metal fatigue and potential failure over time. The hardware isn't the best quality, but it seems to be holding up well so far. The tool tray is nice, it has everything in one easy to…

Incredible quality

Look I was about to spend $200 on a bike stand when I read rave reviews about this one. It took me less than 15 minutes to assemble, it's made from extremely durable quality materials, it's lightweight and easy to move. and I can assure you that for this price you will NOT find a better bike stand. or, for that matter, at any cost. I'm sure mechanics have top notch bike racks etc but if you are a cyclist, newbie or experienced cyclist and need an awesome, ridiculously affordable bike rack this…
