My cockatoo just ignored it!

I've had this for many months now. The quality is good but my cockatoo doesn't play with it. She just hung herself on her cage as decoration along with other toys she doesn't like hehe.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Don't waste your money

This "bell", I will use the term in the broadest sense, has the worst sound! It's more of a soft beat. My Revane was NOT interested in this; where she likes to play/ring another bell.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Bad experience

Fake Bell: Toys

This is not a real bell. Inside is a small cracker, but it literally just makes a soft clicking sound. The sound is not the ringing of a bell. It's pretty useless if you're looking for a bell for a bird that likes noise.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Only available in black

Be careful, the bell had sharp edges that had to be deburred.

Check the edges, clean if necessary. The open end of the bell was quite sharp. I had to write it down. Gave 1/5 for "value for money" at this price, didn't have to put any work into it before letting my bird near.

Pros
  • Certificate GOLS
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Right in the middle of the street.

Not exactly what I thought. It's ok, I was just hoping it was similar to what Dr. Fosters and Smith when they were a company, but no, it wasn't the same. Actually cheaper quality, I thought. But so far it's ok.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Almost no noise!

barley noisy. It makes a gentle ringing instead of the loud ringing one would expect from such a bell. It's like tapping a glass of wine with your fingernail. Which bird is happy about that? These are not similar bells found in pet stores. Returned!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other

Good size, nice sound

I bought the small size for my Quaker parrot. This is perfect for her. I like the sound. He makes a gentle chime. However, be sure to find the right size for your bird. The small hole is perfect for my Quaker, but something smaller like a budgie can get in trouble. Anything larger can get stuck with a finger or a beak. Great design because the ring is kept out of reach (my bird loves to rip them off). But to be on the safe side, pay attention to the size.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Clarity
