Check the angle of the bend you are ordering.

The description doesn't mention a degree of bend, it was 45 degrees, I wanted 80-90 degrees, and it's too expensive compared to the total cost of shipping back. I will have to keep them.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons

Nice but not as pictured

Pliers are great but the picture shows them with a curved grip slot between the tip and blade but that's not really the case. Also, the grooves in the jaws don't interlock like they do in the picture. Maybe Stanley made changes, but Amazon kept the old image.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Hard pliers. Fast delivery.

I bought these to replace an old pair my dad gave me. After a few weeks of use, I noticed that the handles have become more comfortable/ergonomic, and the tool itself withstands all everyday and extreme loads well. I would recommend and buy again.

Cons
  • Nothing here

Heavy enough for regular use.

I liked the idea of combining wire cutters and hook pliers, but they were too heavy for continuous use, so I went back to two separate (but lighter) tools. . Probably perfect for a man, but as a woman with small hands, the weight and balance didn't suit me. Quality tool just not for my hands.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Safety

Bought these to use when working with mail. It has .

Bought for use with the mail. Has the ability to grip chain links tightly, especially when working with smaller stainless steel links. They are durable as far as I use them. My only issue, probably related to how I hold the crank/spin with it and what length I use, is that I keep getting rough spots in the knuckles of my ring finger. However, these pliers serve their purpose. I would buy them again.

Just when you think you don't need them.

You are irreplaceable! They are needed in so many situations that needle nose pliers won't work. They can go around corners, get into hard-to-reach places in car doors, or under the dashboard where pliers just can't reach. I've used them more times than I could imagine right now. I bought these to replace the lock on a Chevy truck that said you need these pliers. God do I ever need her! Now I've used them more often than usual. Excellent hand controls and no need to buy a more expensive brand…
