Perfect solution for longer valves

I purchased these extenders for my road bike which has deep rims and short valves. They are easy to install and provide the perfect solution for longer valves without having to purchase new tubes. The quality is outstanding and they have held up well during my rides. However, these extenders are a little pricey. Overall, I highly recommend these extenders for anyone who is looking for a product that can extend valve length and improve their cycling experience in the Sports and Outdoorsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use and install on Presta valves.
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

For tubulars or tubes with DETACHABLE valve cores

Much better than valve extenders that fit over existing valves and use a friction fit to open and close the valve. Just make sure you have spare valve cores on hand in case the existing valve core becomes damaged or lost in the rebuild. Also, make sure your tube or tubular tire has a removable core, otherwise it will be completely useless.

Pros
  • CNC machined aluminum valve extender, 2 grams each
Cons
  • Hard to tell

They work great.

If you're trying to convert high profile wheels to tubeless, this is the ONLY option. If you have never used a good valve extender: * Remove the valve core. * Screw it into the valve stem (I also wrapped the little threads in teflon tape), rubber side first. * Use a socket wrench or needle nose pliers. to ensure they are tight.* Screw the valve core into the open end.* After inserting the tubeless valve stem into the rim, tighten the locknut securely, even if using the rim tape version.

Pros
  • Adds 40mm to any Presta valve with removable core
Cons
  • Expensive
