Although the post said it would fit my car it doesn't. Wrong part. Doesn't fit in my car. Had to be bought from a local parts store. Very dissatisfied.

Replaced the original thermostat with my Lucerne 3.8. The hole is bigger than the original. It says "Made in the USA", I hope, because the original is made in China, which I don't think is pretty. )

We bought this over a year ago. He followed without any problems. This helps keep the engine temperature where it should be. And of course the engine can be warmed up normally. Probably years of trouble-free service. Well made and easy to install. Great that it came with its own pad too.

I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix and my factory thermostat has stayed open after 10 years. I live in Michigan and since it's so easy to replace I'll be running the 180F in the summer and switching to the 195F in the winter. The exchange took about 5 minutes.
