Broke before first use

I ordered this a while ago but didn't have yarn to bobbin at the time. So, a few months later, when it came time to spool the new yarn, I went to set it up. The large wood screw that held the swift to the table popped into the hole after three turns. Nothing was blocking the hole, and I'm NOT a strong person, so I doubt I suddenly developed superhuman strength and broke it. Excellent customer service.

This particular swift was recommended to me by a friend and I bought it because it can handle very large strands of up to 8.5ft. Most other swifts can only use strands up to 6 feet. I've come across a few of these and wrapping without scissors isn't something I'm good at. When it arrived, however, both wooden handles were missing. Perfectly reconstructed old technology Sweet Swift

As you can see in my video we paired this Swift with one of Stnwood's curlers - and it's a great combination. For many years all of our skeins of yarn were unwound by hand, with one of us holding the skein and the other making the ball. (The "knee method" has also been used dozens of times without much success.)
