Very happy with the cover replacement!

Ideal for our Kubota RTV 1140. We measure the inside and outside diameter of our opening. The man, of course, said he wouldn't fit. The exchange at the dealer was $26 so I took a chance and it worked for $12.50. I will make my husband a Revain shopping advocate!

Doesn't have a hole in the middle - important for the operation of the lawn mower

There was no hole in the middle so if you close the lid tightly the lawn mower won't run. But if you don't put the cover on firmly, it can detach from the mower. I had to spend $250 to "fix" my lawn mower when it wasn't working, but I later realized that it was only because the cover didn't have a hole.

Check Gas Cap Vent

After running my lawnmower for half an hour with the cap installed, it slowly lost power, began to roll and eventually stopped working. After some research I found that the symptoms were consistent with a stopped venting from the gas cap. Of course I looked closer and found a small indentation in the middle of the lid where there should have been a hole. Should be an easy fix (I'll look into that in the spring when mowing season returns) but an annoying manufacturing defect.
