Great quality but a bit pricey for a single socket.

I know if I bought the whole set it would be a lot cheaper per slot. I would definitely buy the whole set if I needed one. The socket comes in very handy with a magnet to hold the screw in any position.

Pros
  • 1/4" drive
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits 1/4 " bits.

I didn't buy it for impact work. Ratchet and 1/4" bits if I need anything more more torque than my universal screwdriver can deliver. The picture is wrong. This socket is tapered at the end and more compact; more like a 10mm bullet for example. Picture also It appears that the magnet is more recessed than it actually is.

Pros
  • Forged from the finest chrome-molybdenum alloy steel - best choice for strength and durability
Cons
  • Some issues

1/4 Magnetic Impact Socket

This impact socket was the answer to my problem. This magnetic bushing makes hard work easier by holding the screw or bolt in the up position.

Pros
  • Individual Sockets
Cons
  • Error

Looks good together but with some fasteners

Looks good together and the magnet is decently strong but as others have mentioned it doesn't look like the pictures listed. Also not very deep for things like using hex bits with a torque wrench to allow the bits to slip out. Probably better than a non-magnetic socket, but I haven't used it yet so time will tell.

Pros
  • Tools and household items
Cons
  • Was damaged

Fits 1/4 " bits.

I didn't buy this for slotting work. I bought this to use with my 1/4" ratchet and 1/4" bits to use when I need a little more torque than my universal screwdriver can provide. The picture is wrong. This socket tapers towards the end and is more compact, more b. a 10mm bullet, the picture also gives the impression that the magnet is set deeper than it actually is, meaning the bit will slip out of its socket if you're not careful, but overall I found it very useful for my purposes.

Pros
  • Triple square drive
Cons
  • Big and bulky
