Good handlebar for cycling

My "used" handlebar arrived very well packaged. They had a few small, barely noticeable scratches, but they were in excellent condition. Symmetry can be an issue with cheap bars, but they were near perfect, maybe less than 1/4 inch difference on each side measured from center. The paint looks good. medium. My Shimano Altus shift and brake levers slide flawlessly and my Ergon knobs slide perfectly too. So no problem, quality seems to be good.

Great upgrade! for handlebars

Ideally, the woman's bike had straight handlebars, which meant she had to bend too far forward. She doesn't like cruiser grips and this is a mountain bike so I gave it a try. It's a little tricky to rearrange the gears as they are much taller than the original bars, but it's fairly easy. I turned it so that it not only opened up, but got a bit closer to her. We bought another bike (now sold) and if that doesn't work we will try to buy another. Now she is comfortable to ride and I got newโ€ฆ

Everything you need for a comfortable ride!

I recently bought a mountain bike and found it quite uncomfortable with flat handlebars. After a short ride, both the back and arms were uncomfortable. So I decided to see if this could be fixed. These rods were the answer. I am amazed that this simple bar change can make such a difference. I sit more upright now and the pressure on my back and arms is gone. If you're even thinking about it, I highly recommend it! Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. This is one of those easyโ€ฆ

Perfect fit and no pain!

What a difference in the feel of the wrists after fitting the Sunlite MTB 3.5โ€ณ Lift handlebar! Installed and in use today. The handlebars are a bit wider, which helped with my broad shoulders. My grip feels more natural and the bar doesn't feel like it's eating my wrists compared to the original bar that was on my Mongoose Mack MTB. I can ride longer without hurting myself. It's definitely worth changing Let's talk about the Sunlite MTB handlebars. The handlebar fits perfectly and is easy toโ€ฆ

Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Used to replace the usual small MTB steering wheel. It's noticeably heavier (maybe half a pound), but I like the more upright stance and nice handlebar flex. It's not as drastic as it looks in the photo without the bike. It's perfect for cross country and some trails, low enough to move quickly through city streets and not too wide for singletrack riding. You can cut 1" or 1.5" off each side with a clamp and hacksaw if you like and still keep decent knobs and trigger switches. The handlebarโ€ฆ
