Tegg keyboards as advertised

The keyboards arrived in a very short time and in new condition. Decoding with the VOM showed that pins were 1-3-5 columns and pins 2-4-6-7 rows. The resistance of the button on the test object is several hundred ohms. Generally no complaints so far.

Works fine if you know how to connect

It took me a while to figure out the wiring but here is the pinout. Skip the first hole, then col2, row1, col1, row4, col3, row3, row2, skip the last hole. I connected them to Arduino pins like this: C2 = D7R1 = D12C1 = D11R4 = D10C3 = D9R3 = D6R2 = D5 I used the code shown below: byte rowPins[ROWS] = {12, 5, 6, 10}; // connect to keyboard byte string pins colPins[COLS] = {11, 7, 9}; // Make connection to keyboard column pinout. Works fine but doesn't solder well as others have said.

No wiring info, button matrix not set up properly, no solder pins

I bought this for a home automation project that needed a simple 3 x 4 numeric keypad for user input. The style of the product got me into it. I was fine with soldering my own wire but due to the design of the product it became tedious and I almost melted the plastic on the case due to the iron clasp. Even after everything was soldered, I was still willing to try and salvage the device. However, when I started programming the device I couldn't figure out the correct pinout as it wasn't listed…
