Description of 🔧 TEKTON 3/8 Inch Drive Flex Head Bent Handle Ratchet with 12 Inch Length, SRH23112

90-tooth gear produces a working swing arc of just 4 degrees. 180-degree, 9-position flex head lets you approach your work from any angle. Unlike conventional "low profile" designs that focus on controlling only the thickness of the head, we reduced the size in every dimension: height, width, and length. Extra long bent handle offers extended reach and clearance for your hand. Classic pull-release drive tang retains sockets with a spring-actuated detent ball. Biased drive direction switch ensures the ratchet gear is engaged at all times, preventing slips or free-wheeling. Sleek and simple handle design offers comfort and control in a variety of hand positions. Fully polished exterior has a chrome plated finish that's corrosion-resistant and easy to wipe clean. Stated length is true working length, from center of drive tang to end of handle.

Great Replacement: Tarp and Brackets

A Tekton Offset Wrench replaced my version of the Husky. It is almost identical physically, but has more teeth. Happy with this product

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • Modern

Up to $200 snap at

I am a diesel mechanic and I buy a lot of things from Snap for a truck. But what can't be avoided, I have to try it for the price, this ratchet is worth a little more than the list price. Tekton tools have earned my respect as a tool maker and I buy and will buy more of their tools.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • problems

The guarantee is worth it!

Arrived as expected and worked well for a few months until it broke and needed replacement. The warranty process is by far the easiest I have ever experienced! Only buy products from this manufacturer for warranty reasons! 1 photo Shipping information and replacements are on the way. Didn't even have to make an account with them. Worth every penny!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Professional mechanic - works near the "loading line " type

I turn wrenches for life and shift long handle flexible head low profile 3/8" ratchet is Paula's essential tool, just seems to its catches and rolls smoothly Like any hand tool, it can be overdriven, but the reviews I've read say the company (easily) backs it up, and it certainly beats the BS I've heard from a "trick" brand " Got it. Time will tell, but it now sits in my top drawer and gets used every day.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Almost perfect but I like it.

I'm sorry if my reference to other brands offended you: nice little head and skinny as a husky, retractable and a bit thinner than the artisanal version of this type of 3/8 ratchet. And he's two inches longer than the Craftsman, but two inches shorter than the full-length Husky. The finish is flawless. The swivel head has 9 positions. The only downside is the pivot spring, which could have been stronger to hold positions better. The grip on the handle is very comfortable. Pinching by the swivel

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Good ratchet, best hardware

Overall a good ratchet. Very functional and good price. I recommend. Some cons (1 and 2 are probably more personal preferences than cons): 1) The ratchet once jammed after loosening some rusty bolts (no cheat tube was used). Could be disassembled without disassembly. No repeat of this after 4 months of average use. 2) I wish the flex head was a little stiffer. This works, but is a bit more flexible than I would like. 3) Fast Release seems to slow me down more than my non-fast ratchets I have…

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Good, except for one BIG flaw.

Working. Not worth the price with a horribly designed flexible holder. Compared to other non-truck flex heads, the head flexes halfway between clicks when you press the release button. It makes no sense. A simple ball would work five times better. All one star because of that one big mistake. The head of the ratchet should stay in the same position when you press the release button. Any other flex head quick release ratchet I have. I cannot and will not recommend this tool or this company at…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No power

Great product for ratchets

I bought this to replace a (stolen) discontinued Craftsman 3/8 Flex Head with a curved handle. I looked at all the other manufacturers and came across this ratchet. It was the closest I could find, so close it could have been a twin. Price $30 with home delivery. I gave her a chance. I buy tools by shape. fit and function. No promotion of the brand and advertising. "Made in the USA" is very preferred, but not a matter of course. I found and bought a NOS master for a lot of money. I was able to…

Ford Explorer 95-2000 SOHC Spark Plug Replacement (My Experience)

If you are replacing spark plugs on a 95-2000 SOHC Ford Explorer you need this curved handle ratchet. A few years ago I replaced the plugs on my 97 SOHC Explorer with a regular straight handle ratchet. God what a test. I vowed to pay someone next time. Fast forward a few years (RIP 97). I am currently driving a 2000 Explorer and the spark plugs need to be replaced. I was willing to pay someone for it until I found this curved handle ratchet. I actually bought the ratchet and all the parts and…
